Save the Date

My friends Rachel and Ryan are getting married in March so I helped her make the save the date cards. She wanted something simple to put the magnets on. This is what I came up with. Paper: Pale Plum (SU!)

4th of July Party Favor

I made these for as a party favor for the 4th of July. I did not have a stamp set for the occasion so I improvised and used a Christmas stamp set. I think it turned out pretty cute. I got this idea from Angie Juda. She did some Valentine's Day treats like this a while back.

Stamp: Spotlight on Christmas (SU!)

Paper: Real Red, Whisper White (SU!)

Inks: Real Red, Brilliant Blue (SU!)

Accessories: Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals (SU!), Bags ( Wilton), M &Ms (Wal-Mart) Silver Ribbon (Michaels)

I made these little treat bags for some of my friends that placed an order this past week. I used the Top Note Sizzix die and then used the Yummy Sale-A-Bration stamp set. The treat bags are from Wilton. I used my FoodSaver to seal the bags. It worked fairly well. I found out that I had to let the sealed strip cool down for just a few seconds before I removed it.

Stamps: Yummy
Paper: Gable Green, Orchid Opulence
Ink: Green Galore, Lovely Lilac
Accessories: Wilton Treat Bags, Top Note

Card Organizer

I found this wonderful video on how to make these boxes. It was so easy to follow an I had so much fun making it. I think that I will make a bunch more for gifts. Dannie's tutorial made putting these boxes together very simple! Thanks Dannie!http://danniesdesigns.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/09/stationery-box.html

I used Stampin Up! Best Ever dsp. I also used Red Riding Hood, Kiwi Kiss, and Baja Blue Cardstock and Ink. The Best Ever kit is nice because it comes with stickers that made everything go together real easy. It did not take very long either. The ribbon was Chocolate Chip, Red Riding Hood, and Baja Breeze.
